Giving Back

In 2010, Sow True Seed donated seeds to many local community gardens and other projects across the country, as well as to Haiti. In addition, we are proud that Just Economics has recognized us as a Living Wage Certified business.

In 2011, we are delighted to partner with the Appalachian Sustainable Agriculture Project (ASAP) as the exclusive seed donor for their Growing Minds Farm to School Program, which provides primary schools in Western North Carolina with seeds for school gardens to teach children to grow their own food.

In addition, our SEED MONEY program that uses seeds for school fundraisers will help take the candy sales out of schools and help kids to grow a healthy awareness about where their food comes from!
