Description: Parsley is a wonderfully healthy, hardy, versatile staple in the herb garden. It gains a richer, deep green parsley flavor after a frost, and blossoms into beautiful, lacy white flowers in its second season, resembling its' relative, Queen Ann's Lace. Parsley is eaten in the Jewish tradition on Passover as a symbol of renewal. It is the main ingredient in tabouli, a Middle Eastern dish which combines parsley with mint, bulgar, tomatoes, lemon and oil for a delicious, nutritious salad in hot weather. Nutrients: vitamins A, K, and C, folate, iron, potassium
