Ben Riddlebarger was selected to design the artwork for our Chiba Green Edamame seed packet.
What is your favorite vegetable to eat and why?
My favorite vegetable to eat is edamame the package I designed. It can be turned into so many different types of food. I like to steam them in the pods, smother them in Indian spices and butter and eat them like popcorn while watching films with friends.
What is your favorite medium to work with and why?
Pen and ink. I love the portability of it. I can take it almost anywhere and create. I can also focus on detail with smaller points and disappear as I meditate through drawing.
Do you have anything else you want to share with potential customers?
My main style of art is very weird. I draw strange scenes that tell stories. I grew up on comic books so a lot of what I do today was greatly influenced by them.
