Broccoli Raab - Early Fall Rapini

Brassica Rapa

Tender, leafy flower shoots with a mellow broccoli-mustard flavor. Produces good yields of raab on 18-24" plants. Well adapted for early fall planting and winter harvest. While a different species than broccoli, broccoli raab produces small florets that have a similar flavor to it. Typically, the florets, stems, and some surrounding leaves are harvested and cooked together. Broccoli Raab is tasty, and often easier to grow than full heading broccoli.
