HEIRLOOM A common, bulbless, Japanese bunching onion. Plants produce white stalks and have a sweet, delicious flavor. Hardy, slow-to-bolt, and overwinters well.
Plant these close together in clumps for transplant or direct seed in early spring or late summer. Harvest by pulling up the whole clump when the diameter of a pencil. Nutrients: dietary fiber, vitamins C, B6, folate, manganese and calcium.
