Bush Bean - Kentucky Wonder

Phaseolus vulgaris

HEIRLOOM Oh the classics! This variety has been around since the 1800s, with some growers re-visiting it every season. And for good reason
Snap bush beans are quick and easy to grow, so go ahead and plant a few varieties! They mature faster than pole beans and require no trellising, a relief for some people. However they usually have 1-2 flushes of pods, so plant them in successions for a continuous harvest all season. For best texture and flavor harvest before the individual beans have fleshed out in the pods. Nutrients: dietary fiber, protein, vitamins A and C and riboflavin.
