Easy to establish, and very persistent. Leaves are prettier than photo indicates–very lush, light, fresh green. To keep it from spreading all over your garden, cut off its tall flower stalks before they go to seed. (You’ll only need to do this a few times each season.) The earliest salad/soup green to come up each year in our garden. Best to consume no more than a handful at a serving, since sorrel is high in oxalic acid.
