Bush Bean - Royal Burgundy

Phaseolus vulgaris

Delicious & tender 5″ long deep purple pods are highly productive and reliable. Beautiful display for market. Stringless pods turn green when cooked. Germinates well in cold soils. Improved version of Royalty Purple Pod.
Snap bush beans are quick and easy to grow, so go ahead and plant a few varieties! They mature faster than pole beans and require no trellising, a relief for some people. However they usually have 1-2 flushes of pods, so plant them in successions for a continuous harvest all season. For best texture and flavor harvest before the individual beans have fleshed out in the pods. Nutrients: dietary fiber, protein, vitamins A and C and riboflavin.
