Stock is a frost sensitive annual that prefers full sun to partial shade and well-drained soil.
Start seed indoors 6-8 weeks before the last frost and transplant outdoors after the danger of frost has passed. Optimum soil temperature for germination is 65-80˚F. Sow on soil surface and press lightly to settle. Seeds will sprout in 14-21 days. Thin so mature plants are 6-10" apart.
