Basil Seeds - Lettuce Leaf

Ocimum basilicum

Lettuce Leaf basil’s gigantic, light green, deeply crumpled leaves have a mild and sweet flavor that makes them perfect for throwing directly on a sandwich or in a salad. They’re great for any standard basil use in the kitchen too - pesto, pizza, casseroles, you name it.

Lettuce leaf basil can be started indoors about 4 weeks before the last frost, and planted outside in full sun after all threat of frost has passed. Great for container gardening. Ready for cut-and-come-again harvest in around 75 days. 0.2 gram packet contains approximately 100 seeds.
