Sow True Seed has had a long-standing charitable donation program, donating thousands of seeds at the end of every growing season since 2009, that your organization can get involved in!

Discounts for Non-Profit Organizations and School GardensSow True Seed offers a year-round discount for non-profit organizations and school gardens. These groups can receive a 20% discount on all vegetable, flower, and herb seed packets at any time. All you have to do is reach out to us at info@sowtrue.com providing your non-profit status and we’ll set you up accordingly!

Sow True Seed’s Annual Donation ProgramSow True Seed also runs an Annual Donation Program. Organizations can apply for our donation program at any time of year. Our application closes on November 30th of each year and organizations are selected and contacted within 60 days of our application closing. Donation resources are allocated by the end of January and our application re-opens February 1st for the following year. If accepted, organizations will receive a collection of 15 or more vegetable, flower, and herb seed packets. We do our best to offer a wide range of seeds for regions and seasons but cannot guarantee that any specific types or varieties will be available. 

Sow True Seed’s Sponsorship ProgramSow True Seed is honored to work closely throughout the year with a small number of sponsored local organizations. These organizations receive $500 to use on Sow True Seed products for their growing season. Throughout the year(s) we hone relationships with these organizations and hope to build a stronger network of agricultural programming in Western North Carolina.

We do accept applications year round but please refer to the donation schedule below or on the application page for specific dates. Applying to our donation or sponsorship program does not guarantee you a donation.
