This compressed brick expands 8 times to make over 2 gallons of growing medium.
100% coconut palm fiber, dried and compressed for easy storage. Expanded coconut fiber has excellent water-holding capacity, while maintaining porosity and air c irculation. Free from weed seeds and pathogens, neutral pH (range 5.4 - 6.8). Ideal for healthy root development of seedlings and cuttings.
Directions:
1) Unwrap the brick and place it in a clean container that holds 2 1/2 gallons (10 liters) or more.
2) Add 1.3 gallons (5 liters) of hot or lukewarm water. Leave to soak and expand for 15 minutes.
3) Mix and blend manually.
