Lettuce Seeds - New Red Fire

Lactuca sativa

This lettuce has it all! Uniformity, color, and excellent resistance to bolting and disease! Batavian-type is non-heading with exceptionally large leaves that are delightfully crinkly and textured, ready to hold your favorite dressing. Huge, loose heads are green at the base and dark red at the ruffled leaf edges. Very strong heat tolerance and moderate cold tolerance. Will hold its crispness and sweetness well into summer and is very slow to bolt. A true winner!
