Painted daisy is an annual that prefers full sun to partial shade. Plants will tolerate poor soils and once established, thrive in dry conditions.
Direct sow outdoors once the danger of frost has passed. Optimal soil temperatures for germination are 70-75°F. Sow seeds 1/8" deep and 4-6" apart. Seeds will germinate in 10-20 days. Thin seedlings so mature plants are 12-24" apart.
Painted daisy flowers from summer to fall. Harvest cut flowers anytime during this flowering period.
