Sarah Rain Hammond is from New Orleans, Louisiana and earned her BFA with a concentration in painting from the University of Mississippi. Today, she calls Raleigh, North Carolina, home, where she works as an illustrator and graphic designer. In her meticulously crafted scenes, Sarah aspires to weave countless narratives, both past and future, reimagining personal histories and projecting new possibilities. Her art serves as a portal to explore the intricacies of existence, often delving into the shadows that shape the human experience.
Drawing from her personal experiences and the vibrant tapestry of Louisiana and Central Mississippi, Sarah's art is imbued with a sense of place and culture.
