Perennial Heirloom. Mary Washington asparagus is a strong growing heirloom variety that produces long, thick spears in May and June. Rust resistant, vigorous, sweet, tender and succulent. Asparagus grown from 2 year old crowns typically take 1-2 years to reach production and with proper care can produce for 15 years or more!
