HEIRLOOM. Rich, full flavor is great for slicing and canning. Produces large 8-12 oz. purplish brown fruits with green shoulders. The flavor is excellent - rich, sweet and spicy with a smooth texture. It is considered by many to be one of the best dark tomatoes. Production is great, wins raves for high yields. An Ukrainian family heirloom (although the name implies that it might have originated from Tula, Russia). Indeterminate.
