Tipper Pressley writes about all things Appalachian on the blog Blind Pig and the Acorn. She lives in the small community of Brasstown NC with her husband and twin daughters. Tipper is an avid gardener and enjoys preserving the bountiful harvest for her family. She grew up working in her parent's garden and is thrilled to be able to pass the joy of growing on to her own daughters who are the fifth generation of their family to garden in the same area.
