Penstemon Seeds - Foxglove Beardtongue - Sow True Seed

Penstemon Seeds - Foxglove Beardtongue

$3.95

Penstemon digitalis

Foxglove Beardtongue is a native wildflower found throughout much of the Eastern US. In midsummer, it sends up three- to five-foot-tall stalks of beautiful white, tubular flowers that are frequented by many types of native bees and hummingbirds. It prefers dry soils, but is adaptable to a range of light conditions from full sun to part shade. Makes an excellent addition to a pollinator garden!

Sow these seeds outdoors in late fall or winter, or cold stratify them in the refrigerator for four weeks before planting outside in spring. Seeds also need light to germinate, so sow seeds on the soil surface and lightly press in. These perennial plants will return year after year, so make sure to plant where you’ll want them long-term. 0.15 gram packet contains a minimum of 150 seeds. Perennial.
