Zea mays
ORGANIC. Tramunt Supersweet Corn is an open-pollinated variety bred by Sativa Rheinau, a Swiss biodynamic seed company. Out of their tests Tramunt Supersweet corn stood out with the largest, most vigorous plants and largest ears. Not only does this corn grow on sturdy seven foot tall plants, it is also delicious, sweet and full of flavor. Supersweet Corns are known to hold its sweetness for longer compared to traditional sweet corns.
Direct seed into the garden after all danger of frost has passed. Corn will need full sun and rich, well-draining soil. Plant in blocks rather than rows to ensure good ear development. Water well to ensure good germination. Once germinated, corn will need at least an inch of water per week. Corn is mature about three weeks after it develops “tassels”. Annual.
