The classic cottage-garden blossom. Beautiful spires of bell-shaped flowers that range in color from white to pink and bloom in the second year after planting. Flowers grow up to 6′ and are especially attractive to bumblebees, butterflies, and hummingbirds. If the main stalk is cut, side shoots will form and bloom later into the season. A biennial that may self-sow but is not invasive. All parts of this plant are poisonous. Biennial. 

Direct seed or transplant into the garden after all danger of frost has passed. Foxgloves will need full sun to partial shade and well-draining soil. Water well to ensure good germination. Once germinated, foxgloves will need at least an inch of water per week. Typically grown for flowers. Biennial.
