When to Seed Impatiens

This annual flower should be transplanted or direct seeded into the garden once all danger of frost has passed. 

Where to Plant Impatiens

This flower will need full sun and will prefer loose, well-draining soil. This flower grows one to two feet tall, so keep this in mind when choosing a location.

Growing Impatiens

Sow seeds ⅛ inch deep and two inches apart. Once mature, thin to 12 to 18 inches apart. This is a pretty low-maintenance crop, but regularly deadheading will result in more flowers.
