Succession planting is the process of staggering the plantings of different crops so that they will mature at different times. This way you can plan to have beets, carrots, bush beans, and more throughout the growing season so you can utilize them to their fullest potential! This is a great way to have these veggies all season long, but it can also mean that instead of harvesting an unreasonable amount all at once and not knowing what to do with them, you can consume or store them gradually as they mature.
