Carousel is a multi-branching, bushy dwarf sunflower that only grows 3 to 4 feet tall, but becomes covered in multiple 4- to six-inch lemon yellow blossoms - great for gardening in a small space or in containers!
Direct sow these seeds in the garden in a location with full sun after all danger of frost has passed. They will bloom in mid to late summer if started shortly after the last frost, around 70 days from seeding. 1.5 gram packet contains a minimum of 50 seeds.

Sunflower is a frost sensitive annual that prefers full sun and well-drained soil with low to moderate moisture. Drought tolerant once established.
Direct seed outdoors once the danger of frost has passed. Optimum soil temperature for germination is 65-85˚F. Sow 1" deep and 4-6" apart. Seeds will sprout in 5-12 days. Thin so mature plants are 8-10" apart.
