Hyacinth Bean Seeds - Purple

Lablab purpureus

Vigorous vines are at home in the garden where they tolerate drought, heat, and humidity. Dark green leaves and purple stems contrast beautifully with lovely sprays of pink-purple flowers followed by shiny, burgundy pods from summer until frost. The flowers are good for cutting, and the pods dry nicely for everlasting arrangements. Not for eating, the pods and beans contain toxins.
