Loretta Blue Sweet Potato Slips

size6 slips

Ipomoea batatas

Purple skin and purple flesh! Loretta Blue purple sweet potato has been stewarded by Anne Grier of Gaining Ground Farm for 14 years as their favorite purple sweet potato to offer to their CSA community. This variety was originally given to Anne’s father-in-law by a patient to thank him for his work as a good doctor. Anne likes it for its strong productivity, silky smooth texture and subtly sweet flavor. It slips and stores well. We hope it will be as tried and true in your garden as it is on the farm!

Slips are locally grown by the Appalachian Seed Growers Collective.
