Where to Plant Bachelor Button
Bachelor button will need a spot with full sun and loose, well-draining soil, however it is pretty adaptable to many soil types. It can get two to three feet tall, so keep this in mind when choosing a spot so that it doesn’t shade anything out.
Growing Bachelor Button
Once established, this plant is pretty much no maintenance. They do get tall, but they don’t require staking. It is also generally tolerant of drought conditions, but watering will produce more luscious foliage and flowers. If left to go to seed, bachelor button will readily grow the following year.
Harvesting Bachelor Button
Once flowering, these tall stems can be snipped with sharp shears and do well as a fresh cut flower or a dried bouquet.
