Woodstock Bookstock Handbound Journal

From local maker Jonah Woodstock, these handmade journals are crafted using an eco printing process, a kind of natural dying that uses leaves and transfers the image onto paper. Jonah adds iron to tannic leaves so that the iron reacts to the tannins, creating a dye that darkens the image. The prints are pressed and steamed to transfer the image, which also embosses the vein structure in the paper. Each journal is unique with its own pattern, color and texture.

Each journal contains ten sheets of heavy paper (20 pages) and are hand sewn with waxed linen (colors vary).
